Adderall Common Uses: This medicine Adderall is a stimulant combination used to treat
attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This adderall medicine may also be used
to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
How to use this Adderall Medicine: Follow the directions for using this
adderall
medicine provided by your doctor. Take this adderall medication in the morning right after
you wake up or as directed by your doctor. SWALLOW WHOLE. Do not chew or crush
before swallowing. If you have trouble swallowing the adderall capsule whole, the
adderall capsule
may be opened and the entire contents sprinkled on a small amount of applesauce.
Swallow the entire food/drug mixture right away without chewing. Do not store
the mixture for later use. STORE THIS ADDERALL MEDICINE at room temperature at 77 degrees
F (25 degrees C) in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. Brief
storage between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 - 30 degrees C) is permitted. IF YOU
MISS A DOSE OF THIS Adderall Medication, take it as soon as you remember if it is in the
morning. Do not take the missed adderall dose in the late afternoon or evening since
taking this adderall medicine late in the day will interfere with sleep; instead, skip
the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take 2 doses
at once.
Adderall Cautions: DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE or take this
adderall medication for
longer than prescribed without checking with your doctor. Exceeding the
recommended dose or taking this adderall medication for longer than prescribed may cause
serious side effects. Check the labels on all your medicines (e.g.,
cough-and-cold products, diet aids) because they may contain ingredients that
could increase your heart rate or blood pressure. Ask your pharmacist about the
safe use of these products. Avoid drinking large amounts of beverages containing
caffeine (e.g., coffee, tea, colas). Caffeine can increase the side effects of
this adderall medicine. KEEP ALL DOCTOR AND LABORATORY APPOINTMENTS while you are using
this adderall medication.. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or
over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. DO NOT DRIVE, OPERATE
MACHINERY, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you
react to this medicine. BEFORE YOU HAVE ANY MEDICAL OR DENTAL TREATMENTS,
EMERGENCY CARE, OR SURGERY, tell the doctor or dentist that you are using this
medicine. Certain laboratory test results (e.g., corticosteroid levels) may be
affected by this medicine. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss
with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy.
THIS Adderall MEDICINE IS EXCRETED IN BREAST MILK. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while taking this
medicine.
Adderall Possible Side Effects: SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during
treatment, include dry mouth, unpleasant taste, upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea,
loss of appetite, weight loss, constipation, nervousness, restlessness,
dizziness, or difficulty sleeping. If they continue or are bothersome, check
with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience
vomiting, stomach pain, fever, unusual weakness or tiredness, severe headaches,
or change in sexual ability or desire. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you
experience unusually fast heartbeat, mental/mood changes, blurred vision,
uncontrolled muscle movements (e.g., tics, tremors), or chest pain. If you
notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or
pharmacist.
